Single Activation on One Device
- This product key is intended for use on a single device.
- Once activated on that device, it becomes tied to the hardware configuration of that specific machine.
Hardware Changes
- Product keys are generally not transferable to a different device.
- If significant hardware changes occur, such as replacing the motherboard, it may trigger the need for reactivation.
Reactivation on the Same Device
- If you make minor hardware changes or reinstall Windows or Office on the same device, reactivation may not be required.

1. Download Windows Installation Media (if necessary)
- Open your web browser and visit the official Microsoft Download page: Download Windows 11
- Download the Media Creation Tool and follow the on-screen instructions to create installation media.
- If Windows is already installed, you can skip this step.
2. Open Settings
- Press Win + I on your keyboard to open the Settings app.
- Navigate to Update & Security > Activation.
3. Check Activation Status
- In the Activation section, review your current activation status.
- If Windows is not activated, proceed to enter your product key.
4. Enter Your Product Key
- Click Change product key.
- In the pop-up window, enter your 25-character product key (e.g.,
XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX). - Click Next to proceed.
5. Confirm Activation
- Windows will validate the key online.
- If successful, a confirmation message will appear indicating that Windows is activated.
6. Verify in Settings
- Return to the Activation section in Settings.
- Ensure the status now reads Windows is activated.
